Hey!

My name is Lydie, I am French, originally from Burgundy, and I have been a luthier for nearly 15 years. Before creating this space of discovery, I travelled to several countries and worked in several workshops.

This allowed me to perfect my expertise in high restoration, , new making and bow making.

Very quickly, I wanted to pass on my knowledge. I wanted to help others discover my exciting profession, to help the my "me" of 20 years old, to help people who are deeply interested in violin making but who do not have access to a workshop and the expertise of a luthier.

I have already helped several different types of people (curious young professionals, people changing careers who want to try out the profession, passionate retirees) to make violins and violas, working together as a four hands team, as I like to say in my workshop in France.
